Bryher (place of hills) is one of the smaller of the inhabited islands of the Isles of Scilly. The hills – Gweal, Watch, Timmy's, Heathy and Samson – are too exposed to be cultivated and Bryher's residents have to make their lives in a relatively narrow zone between hill and shore. It is another area of outstanding natural beauty and peace.
The original painting of 'Bryher' was painted in 2020 with acrylic paint on Hahnemühle bamboo paper 265gsm.
This is also the middle panel of the Isles of Scilly triptych. It is available as a panoramic archival limited edition print 90 x 40cm.
The dimensions of the visible painting are 29.5cm x 39.5cm, with the total size is 30cm x 40cm which includes a 0.5cm border. The painting is signed by the artist. Enclosed with the painting is also a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
The painting will be shipped flat, wrapped in tissue paper, placed into an acid free sleeve then secured between several layers of two ply cardboard.
