This is another painting that was inspired by the Surrealism movement. It depicts being in a dark cold cave looking out to the coast and sea. The painting contains no man made elements although the cave entrance is the outline of an astronaut. What more can be man made than our ability to travel beyond our own planet and what less man made than a cave created by the elements over millions of years. Ability and fragility.
 
This print is one of a limited edition of 50. The dimensions of the visible print area are 30cm x 40cm. The total size is 32cm x 42cm which includes a 2cm border for framing purposes. The original painting of 'Plemont' was painted in 2017 with acrylic paint on Hahnemühle bamboo paper 265gsm.

The painting was professionally scanned and colour checked/proofed. A giclée print is produced to order using archival inks on 310gsm Hahnemühle William Turner smooth matt paper. These prints are museum archival grade.

The print will be shipped in a protective tube or flat between two ply cardboard or alternatively can be collected in person.
