'They remember' 2021.  
 
They remember is the second large canvas painting of a new series for 2021. This painting began life from a photo of dappled seating area in Millbrook park, Jersey. I recreated the scene in collage form using imagery from old paintings and new ideas.  When the collage was finalised I then sketched out on the canvas, painted, then embellished. It is a mixture of old ideas, old references, modern palette along side new ideas.  It is explorative in its basic sense but envelopes many ideas that I has been pulling together over the past few years. I wanted to elicit a feeling of reflection in a world where we are under constant visual bombardment.

The original painting of 'They remember' was painted in 2021 with acrylic paint on deep edge canvas. This print is one of a limited edition of 40. The dimensions of the visible print area are 28cm x 42cm. The total size is 32cm x 46cm which includes a 2cm border for framing purposes.
 
Each print is individually signed and numbered by the artist.

The painting was professionally scanned and colour checked/proofed. An archival print is produced to order using archival inks on 310gsm Hahnemühle German Etching matt paper. These prints are museum archival grade.
 
The print will be shipped flat between two ply cardboard or alternatively can be collected in person.
