Having visited most of London's Lidos Tooting Bec is in my top three picks. When there I feel like I've stepped back in time, it's not rushed.
The changing rooms are at the side of the pool in the open air. A true experience in winter.

I sketched this painting on an sunny winters day. The sun was low and this created strong shadows on the doors of the changing rooms/booths. The fluidity of the water versus the solid form of the changing block. No other detail required, I felt this composition sums up the Lido.
 
This print is one of a limited edition of 100. The dimensions of the visible print area are 43cm x 57cm. The total size is 45cm x 59cm which includes a 2cm border for framing purposes. The original painting of 'Tooting Bec Lido' was painted in 2017 with acrylic paint on Hahnemühle bamboo paper 265gsm.

The painting was professionally scanned and colour checked/proofed. A giclée print is produced to order using archival inks on 310gsm Hahnemühle William Turner smooth matt paper. These prints are museum archival grade.

The print will be shipped in a protective tube or flat between two ply cardboard or alternatively can be collected in person.
